Give your time, share your talents, and help our community grow. Volunteers support The Beth in many ways, from youth and literacy programs to The Farm, resource distribution, community events, and special projects.
Whether you want to serve regularly, bring a group or help with a one-time opportunity, we’d love to connect you with a need that fits.

  • Be a buddy in our Read to Lead After School academy (M-Th 3-6pm)

  • Help a K-8 grade student strengthen their skills in a specific subject area (Monday-Thursday 3-6 pm)

  • We have a current mentoring program for young men through Boys to Men at The Beth. We want to start one for young ladies.

  • Our Food Pantry serves clients in the community. Volunteers are needed Monday-Thursday, 10 am- 1 pm.
    We also use volunteers to handle food pickups and deliver to our center.

  • Organically grown food on just 0.3 acre feeds our students and neighbors through community garden beds, supplying the Food Pantry, and local restaurants.

  • Our center was built in 1960 so, as with any older facility, it needs frequent upkeep. Volunteers are needed for small repairs, plumbing, or electrical issues.

  • We have two large-scale fundraising events each year and several community outreach events.

  • Are you enthusiastic and connect well with others? Can you passionately articulate an organizational mission? If you want to encourage others to become a “friend of The Beth,” please reach out!

  • Help us share our stories by capturing quality photos and video of our programs and events.

  • Help our staff with basic office and clerical tasks.
