THE FARM AT THE BETH
Since 2020, the Farm at The Beth has produced thousands of pounds of produce through the support of community members, partners, and volunteers. In the last three years, the garden has transformed from a handful of raised beds to an operation with over 20,000 feet of growing space. With the guidance and efforts of our partner, City Farms Grower Coalition, we upgraded our systems to include a hoop house, rainwater catchment, and pollinator plants.
We envision our campus as a multidisciplinary outdoor classroom, providing opportunities to experience urban agriculture and ecology up close.

We are currently in full production and will be through the end of the season, utilizing our raised beds, in ground growing space, and greenhouse to produce over 2,000 pounds of produce as of August 2024. Everything we grow is given away to our neighbors and friends, either through the food pantry, after-program giveaways, or weekly outdoor produce stands. Any leftovers are taken to the community fridges in Clifton Hills and Highland Park.
