BOYS TO MEN AT THE BETH

The mission of Boys to Men at the Beth is to partner with and engage families and the community in the personal, social, and spiritual development of young men toward high school graduation and crafting a post-secondary plan for success.

Our Approach

  1. Mentorship and Role Models: Our program pairs each young man with a caring and dedicated mentor who serves as a positive role model. Through one-on-one interactions and group activities, our mentors offer guidance, understanding, and unwavering support.

  2. Character Development: We focus on character development, emphasizing core values such as integrity, respect, empathy, and responsibility. We believe that strong character is the bedrock of leadership and success.

  3. Academic Support: Our male mentoring program provides academic support to ensure that our young men succeed in their studies. We offer tutoring, study skills workshops, and college readiness guidance to help them achieve their educational goals.

  4. Emotional Intelligence: We place a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence, helping young men understand and manage their emotions, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and build positive relationships with others.

  5. Community Service and Leadership: Boys to Men instills a sense of responsibility to give back to the community. Through community service projects and leadership opportunities, we nurture the spirit of service and the desire to make a positive impact.

  6. Healthy Relationships: We provide education on building healthy relationships and promoting respect, empathy, and communication skills. Our goal is to equip young men with the tools to form positive connections with peers, family, and others they encounter in life.
